This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations, rescheduling, deposits, weather issues, and refunds are handled for Denver Balloon Artist services.
An inquiry, phone call, email, or form submission does not guarantee a booking. An event is considered officially booked only after Denver Balloon Artist confirms the date, time, location, service details, and any required payment or deposit arrangements.
For standard balloon twisting, face painting, and combo entertainment bookings, payment terms may vary depending on the event. Some bookings may allow payment before the event, at the event, or at the end of the event.
If a deposit is required for an entertainment booking, the deposit secures the scheduled date and time and may be non-refundable depending on the timing and circumstances of cancellation.
Deposits may be required for certain events, larger bookings, custom requests, peak dates, holidays, or bookings made through certain platforms.
Deposits are used to:
Deposits may be partially or fully non-refundable once the booking has been confirmed, supplies have been purchased, preparation has begun, or other booking opportunities have been declined for the reserved time.
Clients should notify Denver Balloon Artist as soon as possible if they need to cancel an event.
Refund eligibility may depend on:
Denver Balloon Artist may evaluate cancellation and refund requests on a case-by-case basis.
When possible, Denver Balloon Artist will try to accommodate reasonable rescheduling requests. Rescheduling is subject to availability and is not guaranteed.
If the new date or time is unavailable, the booking may be treated as a cancellation.
Outdoor events may be affected by weather, including wind, rain, snow, extreme heat, cold, lightning, unsafe ground conditions, or other unsafe conditions.
Clients are responsible for providing a safe, covered, and appropriate working area when needed. For outdoor events, an indoor or covered backup plan is strongly recommended.
If unsafe weather or conditions prevent services from being performed and no suitable backup location is provided, refunds are not guaranteed.
Booked time begins at the scheduled start time unless otherwise agreed in writing. Delays caused by venue access, event setup issues, guest arrival delays, parking, client readiness, or other event-side issues may reduce the amount of service time available.
Additional time may be available only if the schedule allows and may require additional payment.
If a booking is made through a third-party platform such as GigSalad, Thumbtack, or another marketplace, that platform’s payment, refund, cancellation, fee, and communication rules may also apply.
Denver Balloon Artist is not responsible for fees, restrictions, or refund limitations imposed by third-party platforms.
Denver Balloon Artist primarily focuses on live entertainment. However, if any custom balloon products, balloon-o-grams, party packs, or material-based services are arranged, different cancellation and refund terms may apply.
Once supplies, balloons, custom materials, or preparation have been purchased or started, payments may be partially or fully non-refundable.
Denver Balloon Artist reserves the right to cancel or stop services due to illness, emergency, unsafe conditions, inappropriate guest behavior, venue restrictions, severe weather, or circumstances outside reasonable control.
If Denver Balloon Artist must cancel before the event and no services have been provided, any refund or rescheduling option will be handled based on the circumstances and payments already made.
For limited-time bookings, Denver Balloon Artist cannot guarantee that every guest will receive balloon twisting, face painting, or other entertainment services. The number of guests served depends on guest count, design complexity, cooperation, timing, and event flow.
